Professional Driver Requirements — Black Tie Transportation
We hold our drivers to the highest standard in the industry — because our clients expect nothing less. To be considered for a position with Black Tie Transportation, all applicants must meet the following requirements.
Valid CDL License
A current, valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Your license must be in good standing with no current suspensions or restrictions.
Criminal Background Check
All applicants must pass a comprehensive criminal background screening before being considered for employment.
Professional Appearance & Conduct
Our drivers represent the Black Tie brand on every trip. A professional appearance, courteous manner, and commitment to client discretion are non-negotiable.
Experience Preferred
Previous professional driving or customer service experience is preferred. We provide training for the right candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.
Clean DMV Record
All applicants must submit to a full DMV record check. A history of moving violations, DUIs, or license suspensions will disqualify an application.
Drug Screening
All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Black Tie Transportation maintains a strict drug-free workplace policy.
Punctuality & Reliability
Our clients depend on us to be early — every time. We need drivers who understand that punctuality is a professional standard, not a preference.
Authorized to Work in the US
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Documentation will be required upon hire.

Drivers transport clients to airports, corporate meetings, weddings, sporting events, concerts, hotels, and private events while representing the Black Tie standard of professionalism on every trip.
